STOPAQ® systems protect against the ingress of water, oxygen and bacteria. They are the most environmentally friendly corrosion prevention systems in the world, offering protection against corrosion, reducing waste and better managing HSE risks while prolonging the lifetime of equipment or assets.

The system has a design lifetime of 30+ years.

By choosing STOPAQ® as a corrosion prevention system, your operator will mitigate HSE risk and reduce waste compared to blast and paint by up to 99%.

STOPAQ® can be applied on in-service pipelines, up to 120°C, with no risk of under creep or cracking. By using STOPAQ®, there is no need to shut down operations to do maintenance - a huge cost savings. The carbon emission reduction achieved by using STOPAQ® per m² when compared to blast and paint is up to 95%.

Mandatory surface preparation to minimum ST2 (mechanical hand tool, wire brush acc. ISO 8501) vs. SA2,5 (garnet blasting) makes a huge impact on time savings, waste and safety. STOPAQ® pre-work and application generates no dust, emits no VOCs, produces no noise, and requires no anchor pattern.
