STOPAQ®

Stopaq® Wrappingband EZLT is a corrosion preventing material intended to be used for a wide range of structural and flat applications in atmospheric conditions where water ingress and/or corrosion is a problem. Stopaq® Wrappingband EZLT is easy to install and offers excellent sealing and corrosion prevention. Stopaq® Wrappingband EZLT shows excellent cold applied adhesion properties without extensive surface pre-treatment to various substrates.

Stopaq® Wrappingband EZLT is a prefabricated coating specifically designed for sealing and corrosion prevention in low temperature applications (Max +50oC) for commercial, residential, utilities, telecommunications, transportation, electrical, water, wastewater, agricultural, and industrial uses.

It contains a reinforcement fibre mesh and a polyester fibre top layer that allows immediate coating after installation. It has excellent adhesion properties without extensive surface treatment on various substrates like bare or coated steel. The material does not cure and offers long-term performance. Stopaq® Wrappingband EZLT requires a protective topcoat layer for UV and debris protection.

The recommended topcoat for Stopaq®Wrappingband EZLT is the flexible STOPAQ® EZ Topcoat.

Other types of topcoats may also be used, such as 2-component polysiloxanes, epoxies, polyurethanes, or 1-component waterborne acrylics. Please consult Presserv for additional information. The thickness of 2mm provides excellent wetting properties on uneven surfaces.

Main Features

Constant film thickness at irregular shapes, corners and uneven surfaces.

Surface tolerant - e.g. for steel substrates blasting techniques are not required, wire brushing is sufficient (ISO 8501-1: St 2)

Resistant to ageing, weathering, osmosis, and moisture migration beneath the film

Safe to use. No physical, health or environmental hazards.
