STOPAQ®
Stopaq® Intermediate Wrap PVC is especially designed for application as part of the Stopaq® Splash Zone Coating System or under insulation.
Stopaq® Intermediate Wrap PVC is a flexible polyvinyl chloride tape, coated with a rubber resin pressure sensitive adhesive for use as an intermediate wrap on risers, jetty piles or pipelines being protected against corrosion by Stopaq® Wrappingband.
It is suited for under water application by divers on top of Stopaq® Wrappingband WSH, and for application above the waterline on top of Stopaq® Wrappingband CZ or CZH.
As an intermediate layer between Stopaq® corrosion preventing materials and subsequently applied outer mechanical protective materials, it provides radial compression to the corrosion preventing compounds.
