The Gravity Based Anchors (GBAs) were returned from offshore and stored outdoors at Peterhead without any preservation or cleaning. This left them vulnerable to corrosion and environmental damage.

Application

Application

The primary goal was to clean and preserve each GBA. Our team meticulously removed all offshore debris and corrosion from each anchor. We applied VpCI® technology to safeguard against future corrosion and capped the pipes for added protection. This project was straightforward for our experienced team, leveraging our extensive expertise in corrosion prevention and asset protection.

Conclusion

Conclusion

All GBAs have been successfully preserved according to the customer's specifications and are now ready for long-term storage. This ensures their integrity and reliability for future use, showcasing our commitment to quality and service.
